Pros: Colors, pattern, style, sizeCons: Poorly fabricated, not worth the priceBought this area carpet for our family room. The colors, design, and style, were very complimentary to our space. Loved it! However, the quality of the rug pile and fabrication was lacking. The back of the carpet (rubber material) was already peeling off when I received this item. Not reasonably priced for the quality of product.

I will be honest I am not quite sure how to review an area rug. So forgive me if I fumble.I am usually very much a plain Jane when it comes to décor or patterns. I am not really courageous when it comes to colors and prints. I tend to stay comfortable with basic and classic, rather than flash or bold. But something about this rug called to me. Part of me felt like it was gaudy, but then I liked that about it. I couldn't figure out why, but I kept coming back to it when normally I would have never looked twice. I took a chance and I really do love it.First of all, I don't think the pictures do the rug any justice. The colors are much more rich and beautiful in person. When I first rolled it out I was really blown away by how pretty I thought it was. The texture was a little rougher than I'd have liked for a rug and not as plush. After the first vacuuming it felt softer, but still wasn't as soft as I'd like. I sit on the floor a lot and like things to be comfortable and a little squishy.The quality seems spot on, my husband and son often uses it as a wrestling match and so far it seems to stand up to their games. It is vacuumed quite regularly and I have yet to notice snags or defects. I am one happy rug owner.Cherise Everhard, August 2013

This rug arrived today (4 days early). The colors are vivid and beautiful. Exactly what I wanted. I didn't even know that this rug was a Mohawk. Excellent quality and very soft.
