The rug is lovely, the colors are quite nice. However, part of the reason I purchased this rug was because the description said it was 100% cotton. On the rug's label, it says it is polypropylene. I have an infant, which is why I wanted natural fiber. I have a cotton braided rug that is 2 years old and has never frayed. This rug has several fraya already, I would assume due to to plastic type nature of the fiber. I give it 2.5 stars.

This rug is not cotton. It is polypropylene. I ordered it because I wanted cotton. But, I like the colors and I don't want to go on another search for these colors in cotton, so i'll keep it. Also, I don't see much blue - maybe a speck on one row. If your ordering because it says blue, you will be disappointed.

this product shows it is a rectangle but is actually an oval. it is more black than anything and has very little green. does not match product description at all and has already begun to fray.
