It is a rug. Color is true to picture. Design is subtle but adds to the style. I did find one bad weave and had to trim it. It has an integral pad so it stays in place. Overall very nice rug. True to size also.

I bought this for an entryway area by my front door. I needed a thin, durable carpet that would withstand regular traffic, sand, and salt (we live by the beach). So far, so good. Rug looks very nice. Quality is very good. Sizing is accurate (actually mine is ~1" longer than 6'). I would recommend this to others.
