Just received this rug yesterday and it was absolutely beautiful, BUT not exactly what was represented in the photos. I have a beautiful, modern Penthouse in my downtown city and was hoping this rug had the "shag factor" depicted in these photos, but it looks more like white carpet on my polished concrete floors. For the price, I have paid far less for shag rugs that looked high-end and had the look I was seeking. For example, in the photos, it shows that then ends of the rug have shag from the sides. My rug has more of a finished square look without the shag hanging on the sides which makes it look like less of a shag and more like I had gone to a carpet store and purchased a 5X7 piece of white carpet -- not quite as stylish or modern. It is a beautiful rug, nonetheless, and I am not that picky to begin with --just disappointed that it was shorter shag and did not have that same look it has in these photos. My fault for buying online without seeing it in person.
