This rug is beautiful and soft and I absolutely fell in love with it. The quality of the wool is wonderful, however, after being on my floor for less than 2.5 days, the 3-dimensional loops that make this rug so unique and so beautiful began falling out. Not just a few, but dozens fell out. In other words, the "explosions" were disappearing. It appears as though the loops aren't sewn in, but must have been secured by some kind of adhesive or some other method. Proper care of this rug requires vacuuming without using the beater/brush -- suction only. I thought this would work, but if you have pets, this isn't adequate to pick up the pet hair. This would be a great rug in a low-traffic area in a home without kids and/or pets. Amazon has offered great customer service and offered a refund or replacement, for which I am very grateful.

I bought this rug off another website, and the picture makes it look grass green and darker cream.It's grey green. Dark. Absolutely lovely, but if you are looking for it to match the tone on your monitor, beware!

This is a beautiful wool rug. It does appear more lime green online than it really is - the dark green goes to nearly the center of the rug. I was looking for yellow green and there is very little yellow green in the rug. Some of the "ribbons" in the rug that make up the starburst were loose. I would recommend vacuuming without a beater bar.
