We've only had this rug for a month, but we love it. The shipment arrived on time and in minimal packaging. The colors are vivid. It does shed a bit, but I would expect this in any wool rug. This rug made our room look wonderful! Thinking about getting a second one for the guest room.

This rug looks good but sheds terribly. I mean, really... I am not exaggerating or embellishing. You can literally pull the pile out by the fist full. It's like the guys making this forgot to tie the finishing knot. (I feel bad, as it was probably some 11yo kid in Bangladesh.)Seriously though, no amount of vacuuming will solve this mess. I'm returning it for a full refund. What a disappointment and a headache. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I was so excited about it but alas, I'm left empty. Don't buy...If you read my reviews, they're quite fair. I'm only spending the time to pan this item because I wouldn't want anyone else to experience the trouble I have. The positive reviews here must be from people who posted them on the "day of" installing it... when they realized that the rug's fibers would appear three rooms away (airborne) they probably realized it was not a good purchase.I also bought this for about $450 here on Amazon in November 2013. I noticed (Dec '13) just now, that the price is up to over $600... Just a perspective on what this has gone for...
