Although Emerson as priced is a tremendous value, there is a flamboyance in its color with vivid accents of tomato red, pumpkin, orange, turquoise blue, and bright acid green pop against the bold black, earthy brown, neutral gold, and ivory in the palette.

We were a little skeptical when we ordered this rug for our large, wood floor family room. The price seemed too good for a very heavy rug. Less expensive rugs tend to curl up on the edges for long periods of time - not good with four boys in the house. Well, this rug is thick and flattened out very quickly. The pattern in very colorful. The rug helps keep the warm much warmer. Very comfortable to lie on too.

The colors are true to the photo, it arrived very quickly. It is thick and very nice. It is the perfect size and shape. I was expecting a much lighter, cheaper feeling rug for the price. It's awesome!

I'm using this rug in my dining room. I understood from previous reviews that (1) the rug is darker in person, and (2) the rug is not thick. Personally, I think the rug looks just like the picture. I've seen this rug on at least 3 other websites (at 3 different prices) and on some sites it looks darker, on others it looks lighter. Regardless, the colors are there – and they are indeed vibrant and attractive. True, this rug is not thick, but I am glad because I purchased a heavy glass dining table to go on it and the table sits perfectly on the rug, without any wobbling. If it is necessary to have some thickness, padding can always be added underneath. The feel of the rug is awesome - it is so soft when you run your toes thru the fibers – it feels like short, soft animal fur (LOL - or at least in my opinion) – last night I just couldn’t stop rubbing my feet on the rug!! I really love the color, value, and softness of this rug and glad I purchased it. It arrived quickly, and was packaged well.
